One thing you probably never think about is what browser you are using to view web pages. In fact, the vast majority of you reading this right now will be using Internet Explorer and you’ll be quite happy with that. And, as long as you’re using the latest version, there’s nothing wrong with that.
You might like to know however that there are others. A popular alternative is one called Firefox, which amoungst other features is supposed to be faster and more secure than Internet Explorer.
At Vella Technology some people use Internet Explorer, but some prefer Firefox. Reasons for using Internet Explorer range from “It’s there, and it works” right up to “I don’t want to install more programs”. But people that use Firefox will say “It’s faster than Internet Explorer” and that “there are thousands of add-ons you can download to make it better”.
